Quick build to test out a new revenue stream: branding & website design
THE CHALLENGE
When leaders at a commercial insurance company wanted to test a new revenue stream, they needed a complete brand system and website - built from scratch, on a shoestring budget, in under two months. Limited time, limited resources, and high expectations. The goal was to move fast without sacrificing the trust and credibility that an insurance brand demands from day one.
THE WORK
I began with research, focusing on what builds brand trust quickly and what visual language resonates with small business owners. Color became a strategic decision — blues and greens to signal trust and stability, but punched up in saturation to feel modern and approachable rather than corporate and cold. For social media, I designed content that was genuinely useful — collaged imagery paired with practical tips and resources that spoke directly to the small business owner's world. Imagery was handled with care; working within the constraints of free stock photography, I was intentional and selective in sourcing photos that felt warm, human, and real. The brand guidelines and website were delivered ahead of schedule — proof that limitations, when met with creativity and strategy, can produce something successful.

Success Story:
Building Trust Quickly
Without customer testimonials yet to lean on, we needed another way to establish credibility fast. I suggested spotlighting stories from our own customer success team to showcase their expertise and human impact. It was real, immediate, and it allowed us to hit our deadline. Sometimes the most creative solution is the one already sitting right in front of you.
Success Story:
Proactive Efficiency
Building referral partner landing pages revealed an unexpected bottleneck — too much time lost in back-and-forth over hero image selection and approvals. Without being asked, I created a document of 20+ pre-approved, edited images for partners to choose from. One simple solution that streamlined the process, strengthened client relationships, and gave the sales team valuable time back.
